 Don is an active and successful independent trader who has
traded U.S. and foreign equities, tracking
funds, and futures markets including the U.S. S&P and
Nasdaq E-Minis, German DAX, and European
currencies. In addition to trading a private capital fund, Don has
co-created several instructional
videos, CDs and simulations which emphasize live trading sessions. His
market insights have been
published in multiple editions of Technical Analysis of Stocks &
Commodities and SFO Magazine, and
he has appeared on ClearStation’s “The Trade” as well as several
regional, national, and international
trading shows including the International Online Trading Expo and
TradingMarkets.com. Don has also
actively mentored dozens of traders around the world on the technical
and psychological aspects of
trading, in addition to remaining an active trader.
Don's focus on providing quality trader educational tools is the direct
result of own transition from
senior executive to full-time trader in the 1990s when he discovered a
stark absence of useful
education from active traders who successfully overcame the odds. While
there seemed to be plenty
of theoretical teachings, they seemed either overly complex or
fragmented at best and left a significant
void when it came time for theory to meet reality. As a result, Don
created a series of educational
trading tools to fill the industry void by relying on his successes and
stumbles to provide a powerful
combination of trading fundamentals, simulators, and live trading
sessions, including his "Inner Circle" program launched in September
2004 which combines an extensive multi-day recording of his own trading
business with weekly group mentoring sessions.
Don has a summa cum laude BSBA degree from Bryant College, and
Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin, is a Certified
Management Accountant, and is a member of the Chicago Mercantile
Exchange.
