Hello,
My name is Don Miller, and I'm an independent futures trader and member
of the Chicago Mercantile
Exchange. Years ago I left the security of the corporate world as a
senior executive to trade full-time.
During my successful transition, one of the missing ingredients I
discovered in the trading world was
the lack of quality trader education from successful and active
traders. Frankly, I felt trader education
was dismal in an environment where the 1990s hype and "smoke and
mirror" gurus were rampant,
which left most of us having to figure things out on our own.
While I make my living trading, I feel strongly about providing
high-quality trader education and often
use my own live trading as one of my primary teaching tools. For
example, my Inner Circle program
includes an extensive three-day recording of my own trading business
for instructional purposes,
which is something that I've never seen done before in the industry. I
use live trading because I believe
strongly that successful trading involves the development of a broad
range of skills far beyond that of
simple chart reading which most courses address, such as the ability to
effectively execute orders,
perform under pressure, and practice sound trade management skills. My
trading tools focus largely
on the E-Mini futures, S&P SPIDERS (SPY), and QQQs to reflect my own
primary trading vehicles,
although most of the concepts can be applied to any liquid market.
The life-span of the typical career of a trader is, sadly, very short.
Yet as one who successfully trades for
a living, I am extending my hand out to you and any other serious and
dedicated traders in the sincere
hope that I can help you do the same. I can say with the utmost
confidence that both my learning curve
and P&L would have improved greatly if these tools had been available
to me, and they are the exact
tools I will provide my children if and when they make the decision to
trade for a living.
Good Trading!
Don Miller
